David Robillard, AIA

President, Justice Group


 

David Robillard is the President of Performa's Justice Program. He has worked with numerous local, county, state, federal agencies and private sector clients, providing them with strategic business, land and facilities consulting services.


David joined the Performa team in 1999 as Vice President for Strategic Planning with over 20 years of project experience in creating strategic business, land and facilities planning, facility programming, interior design planning and land use master planning. 


David's 25 years of commitment and dedication to justice work has allowed him to be a strategic resource, helping clients achieve their goals by bringing to them the most recent organizational, operational and functional standards/guidelines and industry trends. He is personally involved in technical studies in the areas of design guidelines, proto-type facility models, site master planning, needs assessment, architectural programming and design.


David has led strategic planning, programming and conceptual design services for the Super Conducting Super Collider Research Laboratory Facility in Dallas, Texas and the new research laboratory for aeronautical systems at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.  He has also led planning and design for national organizations such as the American Red Cross, IRS, and Legacy INS.


Over the years, Mr. Robillard has created project solutions on a multitude of projects. The projects include Public Safety/Law Enforcement facilities, Corrections/Detention facilities, and Criminal Justice facilities. In addition, he has also developed and facilitates a strategic planning process, which has been recognized by AIA Best Practices, that enhances his client's competitive position within their market segment.


Mr. Robillard is an associated member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), a member of the American Correction Association (ACA), and the American Jail Association (AJA).
