Performa, Inc. Plans New Justice Center for Monroe County ›DE PERE, WI. Dec. 28, 2010—In July 2010, Monroe County turned to Performa, Inc., a De Pere-based planning, design and engineering firm, to plan a new Justice Center using as much as possible of the existing facility and land in downtown Sparta. Performa Develops Design Standards for Border Patrol Stations ›DE PERE, WI, Dec. 27, 2010—Performa, Inc., a planning, design and engineering architecture firm based in De Pere, developed facility design standards for U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) border patrol stations. The standards are based on the Massena Border Patrol Station in Massena, N.Y., which Performa planned and designed as the prototype. The station is responsible for 38 miles of international border with Canada – 33 of those miles being the St. Lawrence Seaway.
De Pere-Based Architect and Planning Firm Selected to Make a Distinct Architectural Statement for U.S. Border with Canada ›DE PERE, Wis.-July 30, 2010--Performa, Inc., a De Pere-based planning, architecture and engineering firm, has won a national design competition sponsored by the General Service Administration (GSA) to design the new $40 million Land Port of Entry located in Madawaska, Maine. The Design Excellence Program is the center for GSA’s advocacy of design quality and artistic expression. It establishes nationwide policies for selecting “the finest and most appropriate architects for GSA commissions”. Performa competed against world-class competition and was judged by distinguished private-sector design professionals appointed by the Commissioner of the Public Buildings Service to assist GSA.
Performa to Exhibit at the ACA’s 140th Congress of Correction ›DE PERE, Wis.- 6 July 2010—Peforma, Inc. is slated to exhibit at the American Correctional Association's 140th Congress of Correction held in Chicago, Ill., July 30 to Aug. 4. At booth 200, Performa will ask attendees what they believe will be the key design features of future prisons. Results of the survey will be published after the event.
