Brian Beth

Director of Operations Brian Beth, BB, is a critical thinker who has experience in design, drafting, construction administration, and project management. He is at the heart of Performa’s operations displaying enthusiasm for problem solving in the fulfillment of our multi-discipline service. Brian has an associate degree from NWTC in architectural studies.

Jennifer Kalies

Vice President of Marketing and Communications Jennifer has a marketing degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and believes in people. She is a promoter of the Performa team celebrating our successes and challenges us to do and be more. Jen is a connector of people!

Kristin VanRite

VP of Finance and Administration Kristin’s organizational skills and attention to detail allow her to positively impact the management of our projects as well as our corporate finances. A St. Norbert College graduate, Kristin is resourceful, creative and effective in her role and serves both internal and external clients with care and passion.

Douglas Webster, AIA, Fitwel Amb.

Director of Southeast Region | Atlanta Office Lead In addition to sharing architectural design skills with clients, Douglas leads Performa’s southeast team of architects and engineers. He is passionate about growing client and partner relationships and offers a unique and diverse portfolio ranging from adaptive reuse, mixed-use, hospitality and high rise residential.

Traci Abel

BIM Specialist Uncanny accuracy with an incredible eye for the details, Traci is in her element as an electrical BIM specialist. She brings 20 years of design experience and BIM capabilities to the Performa team. She prides herself on ensuring our drawings and models are of the utmost quality. She’s efficient and wicked fast, which not only helps on projects but helps her keep up with her grandson!

Michael Babbitts, AIA, NCARB

Architect Michael is able to combine two of his passions, design and visualization technology, in his career as an architectural designer. He leverages professional training with technical expertise to help bring ideas to life. Michael has a Master of Architecture from UW-Milwaukee and became a registered architect in 2018.

Ryan Bakke, AIA, NCARB

Architect Ryan is developing a reputation for designs that are cost conscious, superior performing, innovative and community building. When ideas connect, when you really listen, you create places that are positive, memorable and pleasantly surprising to owners, users and the environment. Outside of the office, Ryan enjoys volunteering at his church, and seeing the world with his family. Meet Ryan.

Josh Breyer

IT Director / Senior Systems Administrator Josh is our IT guru who builds computers and cars alike while keeping us online and operational! He has a passion for researching our next best solution to help us get better. His degree as an IT Network Specialist is from Fox Valley Technical College.

Dallas Borski

BIM Specialist Dallas is a BIM specialist with us who can “juggle” just about any task. As his career evolves, he will have a unique opportunity to bridge the gap in Revit/BIM between building design and systems design. He is an Architectural Technology graduate from NWTC. And he really can juggle!

Noah Borski

Intern Fascinated with technology, Noah joins Performa as an intern assisting our BIM Specialists with using BIM technology to design, detail, and coordinate. He is currently pursuing a degree in Architectural Technology at Northeast WI Technical College and has an IT background with an emphasis in Game Studies. Gaming is a hobby he enjoys outside work, as well as running.

Ben Charlesworth, PE

Mechanical Engineer Ben is a talented mechanical engineer who believes his greatest responsibility is to help clients make good decisions and choices. Located in our Atlanta office, he offers diverse experience in general commercial and office remodels, which span everything from simple high-rise tenant spaces to full restaurant build outs and hotel design.

Tonya Dittman, LEED GA

Director of Engagement Tonya is passionate about PEOPLE, the alignment of employee and client engagement, and all things culture related. As Performa’s Director of Engagement, she influences business strategy to enhance employee and client experiences and contributes to brand awareness and long-term growth. When she’s not at work, she enjoys traveling to new destinations with family and friends.

Greg Douglas, AIA, LEED AP

Architect An architect, Greg has spent his career in all aspects of planning, design, and construction; however, his passion is discovering ideas to make people, buildings, and processes better. In more recent years, Greg has transitioned to a strategic innovator and advisor to Performa, passing on what he’s learned and teaching at his alma mater: Northeast WI Technical College.

Brittany Fisher

Human Resource Generalist Brittany is masterful at building rapport and supporting Performa team members through reinforcing culture, benefits management, implementing people policies or helping recruit, hire, and onboard new team members. Practical and resourceful, she uses her optimism and desire “to get things done” to execute flawlessly.

Brenden Frazier, PE, HBDP, CEM, LEED AP BD+C, BEMP

Mechanical Engineer An Atlanta native, Brenden is a multi-talented engineer with HVAC and plumbing expertise. His diverse experience includes commercial, medical, government, DoD, and industrial as well green building practices and energy modeling/building simulation. A diverse hobbyist, Brenden enjoys exploring everything from woodworking to automobiles.

James Frelich

BIM Specialist Technology fluent, James is a BIM Specialist and so much more. He’s a natural teacher, educating teammates and clients to use technology to design and view buildings virtually. Although electrical is his core discipline, he is versatile across disciplines. He’s a natural innovator, always seeking opportunities to productively empower the team. Meet James..


Interior Designer Detail oriented and creative, Heidi is an experienced interior designer for commercial, education, hospitality, and multi-family spaces to name a few. She provides creative and personalized interior spaces and is an expert in space planning with extensive finish & material knowledge. Outside project work, she is an adjunct interior design professor.

Emma Gill, AIA, LEED AP+C

Project Architect Formerly from Lexington, KY, Emma is a registered architect who brings educational design experience to the team. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee. She enjoys collaborative design and when she’s not immersed in work, you’ll find her enjoying the outdoors on hiking trails and spending time with her family. Meet Emma.

Carolyn Glime, AIA, NCARB

Senior Planner & Architect Heading a team of architectural, planning, and consulting professionals to develop successful, comprehensive and integrated space solutions for diverse institutions, Carolyn leads the firm’s higher education market. Carolyn is a graduate of Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Meet Carolyn.

Nick Grahl, PE

Structural Engineer Although his specialty is structural design, Nick is a well-rounded engineer experienced in integrating structural engineering with other disciplines. A creative problem-solver and technically savvy, you’ll often find him troubleshooting tools or thinking about advanced snow loading. When he’s not working, you’ll find him renovating houses and contemplating his own show on HGTV.

Steve Gruesen

Architectural 3D / VR Specialist Steve is a master at transforming drawings for clients. He takes modeling and animation to new levels in his craft, and has most recently embraced virtual reality. Steve can take clients into a new building where he highlights the architecture, scale, color, textures and movement. The videos featured within the website are his creations.

Jamie Guzick, AIA, NCARB

Architect An experienced architect and project leader in our Atlanta office, Jamie has experience in industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, and corporate environments. She earned a Bachelor of Architecture from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. When she’s not working, Jamie enjoys traveling, spending time with her dog, and hiking the Appalachian Mountains.

Alex Harbour, PE

Electrical Engineer Alex a MSOE grad and collegiate volleyball player. His drive for personal advancement and ability to “see” the value in illumination and electrical design for our clients makes him a successful member of our engineering team.

McKaela Hannah

BIM Specialist McKaela began her career with Performa as an intern and has quickly grown into a versatile member of the team. She has a genuine interest in HVAC and mechanical design and assists with BIM in these disciplines. Bonus, she’s a phenomenal barista with a deep love for coffee!

Casey Helmrath

BIM Specialist Casey is an architectural designer heavily involved with design and spatial coordination, utilizing BIM to assist all members of the team. With a family tradition in the construction industry, Casey enjoys any opportunity to utilize his skills in the field on construction sites. His love of the outdoors extends beyond work, as his passion involves all things hunting-related.

Kevin Henschel

BIM Specialist Kevin ensures Revit accuracy as models develops through the design process. He offers a background and expertise in low-voltage electrical and practical field knowledge as a BICSI technician. Kevin enjoys collaborating on process standardization and in his leisure time, he enjoys a good game of golf and all that WI sports have to offer!

Todd Hietpas, AIA

Client Executive Todd is an advocate for Performa’s ability to develop the best solutions to build superior performing environments for our clients. His natural ability to establish deep, long lasting relationships makes our clients know their concerns are heard and being cared for. Todd is an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.


Project Architect No matter the size or complexity of a project, Tim’s ability to listen and understand the needs of the client are always his driving force. Tim is a UW-Milwaukee graduate and has a Masters of Architecture.

Paul Hudson

Senior Job Captain / BIM Specialist Paul’s greatest strength are his attention to detail, design ability and client service disposition. He shares his talent and abilities through elevating our BIM design standards. . Paul is a Northern Michigan University graduate.

Paul Janssen, AIA

Project Manager / Architect Paul began his career with us as a registered architect and has returned to our project management team. Whether it’s managing a project, assisting with constructability, or sharing his quick wit and great sense of humor, Paul has the experience and the personality to ensure projects are completed well and that the people involved enjoy the process.

Adam Karabenli, PE, SE

Structural Engineer Located in our Atlanta office, Adam is a licensed Professional and Structural Engineer. Incredibly detail-oriented and a natural problem-solver, Adam enjoys the nuances of structural design. When he’s not working, you’ll find him spending time with his growing family, on the golf course, supporting the Atlanta Braves, or renovating his home.

Dayna Klein

Environmental Graphic Designer An experienced multidisciplinary designer, Dayna offers a wellspring of imagination and talent in creating authentic stories through design. In her role, she conceptualizes, designs, and manages environmental branding experiences for our clients. She’s a lover of minimalism, is mad for visual texture, and loves the beauty of the outdoors.

Steve Koltz, AIA

Senior Project Manager / Architect Steve is dedicated to serving Performa clients on site and in the office. Clients trust his ability to take a job from construction documents through construction administration, ultimately ensuring a lasting building environment. Most days one can find Steve in a hard hat on site or elbow deep in plan drawings.

Structural Engineer This structural engineer has years of experience in industrial and commercial building design, not to mention boasting project work with our founding leadership team.

Mike Leinon

BIM Specialist Gifted at troubleshooting REVIT, Mike enjoys people and problem solving to fine-tune designs with building informational modeling (BIM), specifically structural. He has a degree from Northeast WI Technical College in Architectural Technology and has a keen in interest in the early stages of projects as well as understanding the real estate development implications of our work.

Mike Lewis

IT Support Specialist Optimistic, tech savvy, responsive and an incredible listener, Mike is uniquely suited to his role as IT Support Specialist. He serves our internal team with caring efficiency, helping research, troubleshoot, install, and resolve technical problems. He’s also responsible for maintaining all computer hardware, necessary system administration, and support of all software applications.

Devon Mayo, EIT

Structural Engineer Originally an intern, Devon returns to Performa as a structural engineer with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He offers practical experience, having led his own projects and supported onsite construction at previous firms. An adrenaline junky, Devon enjoys snowboarding, rock climbing, skydiving, and other adventurous pursuits.

Tian Newman, PE

Electrical Engineer / Engineering Project Manager Project management, end-to-end power distribution, lighting design, arch flash risk assessment – these are just a few of Tian’s many talents. She is an experienced engineering project manager and electrical engineer with a Master's and Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Marquette University.

Architect Erin is a vibrant architect who brings creativity and passion to every client and project she works with. Erin immerses herself with clients to bring brand and function into workplaces she designs. Erin has a Masters of Architecture from the University of Minnesota.

Amanda Ramseier

Accounting Specialist / Project Coordinator Amanda is about as thoughtful as they come. She offers just the right blend of attention to detail and care for supporting our project management team and clients. With an everlasting desire to keep it real and find the good in every situation, you’re left with someone who is the ultimate team support person – inside and outside our walls

Jill Schneider

Administrative Assistant With a caring and servant heart, Jill keeps our team running smoothly and efficiently. As administrative assistant she wears many hats, whether that’s organizing and coordinating in-house workshops, client meetings, employee events or managing all the details in between. She enjoys spending time with her son and participating in all the joy that WI sports have to offer.

Senior Electrical Engineer Tim is a Milwaukee School of Engineering alum with deep electrical engineering expertise. He is a phenomenal technical resource in the trenches who enjoys mentoring and streamlining workflow. He thrives in the outdoors, whether that’s working his land with his five children or sharing his previous experiences living in Alaska.

Juli Simonet

Senior Plumbing Designer / Engineering Project Manager Juli loves the thrill of a challenge, whether it’s complex plumbing engineering, guiding a team through project challenges, or refurbishing antique furniture! Regardless the task, she loves the thrill of bringing something new to life. In her role as a Plumbing Designer and Project Manager, clients and teammates benefit from her technical expertise, her high EQ and humor. Meet Juli.

Cole Sladky, AIA

Project Architect Cole is naturally optimistic and brings creativity to every project, whether that’s in architectural design, field engineering, or drafting. Tech savvy, he’s especially adept at producing drawings and coordinating designs across disciplines. When he’s not designing, you’ll often find Cole on the golf course, four-wheeling trails, or simply spending time with his lovely wife and playing with his dogs.

Rachel Stover

Marketing Intern Rachel's artistic talent and attention to detail will support the Performa brand in ad creation, environmental graphics, and other marketing collateral. She’s currently attending St. Norbert College.

Alex Tessen

HVAC Designer Alex’s passion for architecture and building stems from his youth and manifests today in his career at Performa and folds into personal time designing homes and building furniture. Working smart and hard Alex is a critical piece of our engineering team.

Interior Designer Stephanie is multi-faceted interior designer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design and a minor in Sustainable Design and Development. Stephanie enjoys incorporating sustainability within her projects. She enjoys creative pursuits like watercolors and photography and spending quality time with her growing family – including her dogs.

Scott Wohr

Director of Marketing Scott our brand protector and ambassador. Our clients benefit from his ability to capture and enhance the print and digital media for planning and design. Scott has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. There is no question about it, Scott is also our resident foodie!
